In this beta presentation, we showcase the numerous progress made since our initial pitch regarding our topic on combating Youth Unemployment.
The video intends to show a steady developmental trajectory where the team’s initial foundational services have thoroughly extended. Our biggest milestones achieved thus far is the successful production of a video that is geared towards our target audience, youths and fresh graduates. Another big milestone is the multiple blog posts that fill the content in our site, making it much more reliable for youths in utilizing its resources.
The evident documentation can be found on our team’s website, which we intend to use as the main gateway for interested people in helping them find a job.
The research that we have found is also very interesting, especially as we are also the stakeholders as students that are looking for jobs. The topic provides a broad outlook regarding the labor market trends with people of our age, and we can effectively prepare ourselves for our own future job searches as well.

Hey Ahmir, Simran here again! Yet again, I’m very pleased with the current work and progress that you and your group mates have done so far for your digital artefact which includes the blogs posts, the PSA video and findings! Your BETA video was very direct and organized. (And I enjoyed it!)
Your group has made a website dedicating to your digital artefact – which by the way looks fantastic (even in construction/ progress). Your group clearly did a significant amount of findings relating to the youth unemployment rates and the issues concerning that topic. You also mentioned what was included in your website and making it easy for users to access.
I’m glad that your group has acknowledge the comments given by your peers and decided on what changes and iterations are to made, or what to simply keep (which works best). You guys also did a great job with the content published on your website such as tips and advice for people looking for help in creating a resume or CV, even including tips/ video in how to ace an interview! Very useful! As I may know people who struggle with creating a CV/ resume (what to add/ not add, how to make it nice, etc), I think they can very much benefit from those blog posts and share it with their friends as well!
I am also thrilled that your group has set up a “consultation” section in which people (youths) can find relevant professional authorities that they can consult with, such as the Labor Department or professional job consultants! I also appreciate the effort in creating an authentic video (“Job interview tips for fresh graduates”) instead of just copy and pasting a already made video from different content creators.
As for my comment for your BETA, I think that you and your group mates have made a magnificent progress and are on the right track.

It looks like you guys are making very good progress for your project. The project website looks great so far and looks like it will grow with more content. Your group evidently did a lot of research with your blog posts. They are also interesting and points out some other perspectives to the youth unemployment issue which may not be seen by everyone.
I also like that you guys have made your own PSA video on how to perform well in a job interview, as well as writing blogs to give people tips on how to write a good resume. I think these advice will certainly help fresh graduates and young adults in general to secure a job more easily. This can also boost their self-confidence when they are looking for a job which will also boost their performance. Other than that, it is interesting that your website has a consultation section linking to professional authorities. I think this can help young adult to find jobs more easily.

I am glad that your group follows your pitch. your videos on your website are very stylish and very good.
There is a suggestion for your website. In your real time job market. I think you can add the job place Photos inside the job introduction. Also add the CEO names. Can let students clearly know more about a job. because now a lot of websites about finding job are fake jobs that deceive Fresh grad students. Because they don’t have enough working experience to distinguish fake jobs.
And some companies are in the deceptive business, I think you can add some hints so they can learn to tell what is a fraudulent job. Beware of being fooled. I think this will be better to support teenagers to find jobs.
I think it’s quite important to find a full-time job of fresh grade student. They can get more social experiences and working experience. also because you’re target audience is fresh grad students. Therefore, I think in your real jobs suggestion you can suggest more about internship jobs. then they can have more opportunities to get their favorite jobs.
